Step By Step Methodology or Guide to Tackle A Data Science Competition or Project

data science step by step guide

Have you ever thought of tackling Data Science competitions from top competition websites such as Kaggle.com or you have a Data Science project and you are not sure how to start on it or where to start exactly from and how to go through it ?

Or you simply have an idea but want to look at another fresh angle from which you can tackle your Data Science project?

I came across a very explanatory article by Brett Romero through a Linkedln Data Science group I join and I believe Brett’s article and approach to solving a Data Science project by AirBnB details the entire process and makes it very clear on what to do to tackle Data Science projects and Data Science competitions.

It is a series of articles with each series tackling and explaining every stage of the project right down to predicting your results.

I hope this will be very much helpful for Data Science newbies and aspiring Data Science and those who want to do Data Science competitions online.

The Series of articles can be found on  Brett Romero’s personal website with the first series here: DATA SCIENCE: A KAGGLE WALKTHROUGH – INTRODUCTION

Kind of similar to the above website , is this website too: http://machinelearningmastery.com/

You can get lots of great advise from , Jason, the editor of the blog

All the best in your Data Science journey!
